Michelle & Yuri ~ An Intimate Garden Wedding

When Michelle and Yuri reached out to us to help plan their intimate wedding of 20 guests, we couldn’t have been happier to assist them. We live for small weddings. There’s something so utterly romantic about going ‘all out’ on your dream wedding, just for your closest friends and family. The intimacy of it all makes every detail even more intentional and personal. They decided to rent a stunning estate in Sonoma, where most of the guests also stayed overnight. This made for a multi-day celebration instead of the typical 6-hour wedding celebration. Because all of the guests planned to spend a few days together, we took the opportunity to design a day that would allow them to celebrate and really soak in every single moment. It was a beautiful Tuesday in October, and we started the morning off with the ceremony. The guests gathered to witness an absolutely breathtaking ceremony, facing the outside of the estate, adorned with hundreds and hundreds of roses. The scene was awe-inspiring! After the ceremony, everyone retreated inside the house to have a “farmer’s market” inspired grazing lunch of breads, olive oils, cheeses, charcuterie, fruits and desserts. It featured the ‘best of the best’ that Sonoma County has to offer. After a quick bite, there was a team of stylists available for all of the women (yes, every single guest was invited to join) to get glammed up with professional hair and makeup. What a treat! As the sun started to set, the guests were invited to the estate’s formal gardens and pool area for cocktails, followed by an elaborate multi-course dinner. The guests dined under the twinkle lights as the sun set over the neighboring vineyards. It may just have been the perfect day! To see how it all came together, check out these gorgeous photos.
